The Blackwater International Coal Centre boasts a modern and well-facilitated venue hire in Blackwater. We work directly with our clients to find the perfect setting for your next corporate or private function. Our experience in providing quality venue hire and on-the-day coordination has made us the largest business training centre in the Central Highlands region of Queensland. The Centre offers various venue hire options that can be personalised to your event:
- BMA Conference or Expo Room (200pax)
- Auditorium Cinema (100pax theatre style)
- 3 x Conference Training Rooms (20-30pax)
- Museum Gallery (80pax)
- Timeless & Japanese Gardens
- 2 Outdoor Decks (entrance to BMA Room)
- Interview Small Office (4 pax)
Our in-house catering packages include a selection of morning and afternoon tea, fresh and hearty lunch options, and our alfresco BBQ and Cocktail Canapes for special occasions. All function menus can be individually tailored to your needs and dietary requirements.
Refreshments options include tea, coffee stations, cold drinks and juices. We also have a licensed bar for evening events. Barista made coffee, soft drinks and food can be purchased conveniently at the Coal Cafe.
We have a wide selection Audio Visual Equipment, WIFI, whiteboards and easels available for a small hire fee. For large events the BICC can assist in coordination of transit from Emerald, Rockhampton and the surrounding districts.
