The BICC is a non-profit organisation that provides community and culture to the Central Highlands region, your support will help us to continue provide world-class facilities in outback Queensland.
Known by locals as The BICC, The Blackwater International Coal Centre is a great community hub for special events, school holiday movie screenings, educational excursions and the ‘go-to venue’ for functions and training for local businesses. We are dedicated to providing the local community and visitors with unique experiences that are not easily accessible in rural regions. Focusing on increasing arts, culture, education and community well-being through special events, training facilities and on-going centre activities.
The Blackwater International Coal Centre operates as a limited non-profit organisation. Money for the running and maintenance is provided from admissions, sales of souvenirs, catering, room hire, cinema sales, sponsorship and donations.
Sponsorship support assists the centre to improve, maintain and upgrade our Museum and facility attractions, and provide special events to the Blackwater community. Sponsorship further assists the Blackwater International Coal Centre to strongly promote tourism in the Central Highlands region, which will help to build a diversified economical plan for the region.
We have many sponsorship opportunities that are suitable for small to large businesses and organisations. Your support will be recognised through our marketing channels and ongoing operations of the Centre. Our sponsorship options include small monetary support, volunteering your services, product donation and major sponsorship donations. As a donor you will be able to declare your donation for tax purposes because we are a charity with deductible gift recipient status.
